Bubba Cookies
Bubba Cookie
Cross - Bubba Kush X Animal Cookie
Bubba Cookie Kush is an indica strain that has gained notoriety in the U.S. and beyond for its heavy tranquilizing effects. Sweet hashish flavors with subtle notes of chocolate and coffee come through on the exhale, delighting the palate as powerful relaxation takes over. From head to toe, muscles ease with heaviness as dreamy euphoria blankets the mind, crushing stress while coercing happy moods. Bubba Cookie Kush exhibits a distinctive, bulky bud structure with hues that range from forest green to pale purple.
Bubba’s stocky plant stature and bulky bud structure suggest Afghani descent, but its genetic origins aren’t certain. The breeder whom this strain was named after states that Bubba Kush emerged just after 1996 when an OG Kush hybrid pollinated an unknown indica strain obtained in New Orleans. The mother plant was supposedly Northern Lights, but the genetically ambiguous indica was simply called “Bubba.” Bubba Kush has flourished from its California roots ever since.
A descendant of OG Kush and another indica-dominant strain, Bubba Kush is known for its knockout potency. It delivers hash, chocolate, and coffee flavor profiles with effects that leave you in a tranquil state of bliss. This strain grows short and fat with large dense buds, speaking to its Afghani lineage.
Grow Techniques: Bubba Cookie Kush is a great strain for hydroponic growers as the plants stay short and dense, growing beautiful trichome-covered buds. Pack them in close and prune their lower branches to develop a beautiful SOG (sea of green). Top your crop to create full, even canopies in your garden.
Climate: Moderate and dry climates falling between 68 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
Indoor/Outdoor: Often preferred for indoor grows because its large dense buds will suffer quickly in moist climates.
Feeding: Bubba Kush is a heavy feeder. Its dense growth requires lots of nitrogen, calcium, and magnesium to fully develop before flowering.
